Do you need someone with a simple framework and a proven plan that works?
Then you arrived at the right page with the right guy.” Anthony
How I started and why I am qualified.
A few years ago I was working for my friend in his business, Bumble Bee Taxi in Bremerton.
This was in 2010 and the internet and mobile phones were just starting to be a thing.
One day, I asked a customer how he found us to call, and what he said changed my world.
He said that another cab company, Cab Ken, had so much business that they preferred him over to us.
Now at the time Cab, Ken was the new kid on the block, and that infuriated me.
What was he doing that I wasn’t?
So I asked the customer, ” Well, how did you find out about Cab Ken?”
“Google.” he said.
I knew I had to find out more, and I did.
Next thing you know, I built a website for bumble bee taxi and started seeing results immediately.
Fast forward 4 years and I started my own Taxi company, AAA Tonys Taxi in Bremerton.
I marketed that business into $100,000 a year.
I sold it in 2016 and started marketing.
I want to help people such as yourself, looking at their computer screen and wondering what it was going to cost to rescue their online reputation and business listing.
It’s SEO and there is a formula to it.
SEO and SEM can be confusing and overwhelming to a small business owner.
After all, I have been in your shoes.
All you care about is growing your business and having some of this precious “time with your family” that everyone talks about.
It’s the reason you went into business for yourself in the first place.
The last thing you want to do is crack open some books on SEO or go to a conference on SEO.
And the last thing you have is a ton of money to throw at the abyss of SEO, with no real knowledge if it’s working.
That’s why we take it step by step and follow a system that chips away at your online presence 1 month at a time.
STEP 1) The first thing I do is an overall business health check up and evaluation.
I want to know what key words your ranking for, and what keywords your competitors are ranking for.
I want to see if you have a website, what it;s built with, and it the basic foundation is sound. Sometimes you need a completely new website, most times not.
Step 2) This is where we start going after your citations. We take the big ones out first, like Facebook and twitter and Pinterest. You don’t need to engage on these sites if you don’t want to, but having them claimed is huge in building your reputation with Google as a legitimate, trust worthy business.
Step 3) Blogging. Blogging for your business is how you will engage with your customers and answer their burning questions while your home asleep, or at the job site.
1. Answer a recent question – “mail bag”-style.
3. Confess a weakness.
4. Showcase a new “toy” for your business.
5. Profile an employee (new or old).
6. Profile your typical customer – or a handful of common types.
7. Discuss a relevant current event.
9. Answer fan mail. (Don’t just be self-congratulatory.)
10. Answer hate-mail.
11. Review a product.
12. Compare multiple products.
13. Explain a law or regulation.
14. Expose a scam.
15. Showcase a job.
16. Interview someone. (A competitor, a customer, or someone else.)
17. A roundup of others’ posts or resources.
18. Cool photo(s) or video(s).
19. Pose questions to anyone who’s reading – ask for feedback, suggestions, questions. Get a little conversation going.
20. News in your industry or city.
All these will put you far ahead of most competitors because they are not doing it.
